HELP ! WHO KNOWS THE TITLE OF THIS BOOK ?

I am looking for a book (now out of print) which was published by BROADWAY CARES or ACTORS FUND some years ago,but I can`t remember its title.It was a book with reports on the producing of JELL´S LAST JAM,Karen Ziemba on STEEL PIER,the auditions for GUYS AND DOLLS and a lot of articles.The cover was a beautiful and colorful shot of GUYS AND DOLLS last scene in front of the gorgeous Tony Walton set.Could someone help me ? Thank you so much.

Why does my book by Marty Bell have the title "Broadway Stories - a Backstage Journey through Musical Theatre", in stead of the title everyone else is quoting here? It's the same book, published in 1993. That's the year I bought it, and it has a jacket with the photo mentioned above, the Guys and Dolls Finale.

The book I am looking for (now I know,thanks to the board) is calling BROADWAY STORIES (with Guys and Dolls in the cover)and was published by LIMELIGHT.Is it possible that the title was changed (for some reasons)to BROADWAY BACKSTAGE ? Please help me.Thanks a lot

Yes, I think you are looking for the book I have. Those chapters you mentioned are in my book, along with chapters about the score for City of Angels, the book for Will Rogers, interviews with Faith Prince while awaiting the Tony nominations, a fantastic chapter about Nick and Nora as seen through the eyes of understudy Kay McClelland, and much more.

I don't know if it was retitled and released as the book people are linking to above. It's very possible.

Yep - it's the same book - mine is a paperback version from '94

Thank you all.I`ve discovered that BACKSTAGE ON BROADWAY is the title that BROADWAY STORIES was published in England and Australia.I do know how to thank all of you for help me.

try abebooks.com...they have a lot of out of print books for good prices.
