HELP info on Wicked the Musical

hello everyone I am from england. I am a teacher over here and some of my older students are looking at doing a piece for their exam at the end of the year from Wicked the musical. I have been reading through this site and it does say that the script is available and others are saying it isn't. I am desperate need of this script, it won't be used by anyone other than my student's. If anyone has a copy of the script or knows where I can get the Winie Holzman Version of Wicked the muscial please contact me, i look forward to hearing from you.

The script, as far as I know, isn't online anymore because of copyright issues.

Can you buy the actual book by Gregory Maguire and use something from there? I mean, the book is more "darker" than the show, but you can probably use something along the lines of the show that the students will understand.

i dont know if the actual script is avaliable...but if it is it would cost a ton of money to rent since its still on broadway and still bringing in tons of cash

As far as I know, there was a literary magazine out about a month ago that had a scene from the show in it, designed for students. The script is not available officially as of yet. I'm sure, with time, the script will become available. Although, I'm also sure it'll come with an unreasonable price.

I have a copy of the script, however, if you're looking for a specific scene. I know it's illegal to use the entire script in a classroom atmosphere - so therefore I would only be willing to send you a portion of the script. If you're interested, e-mail me at overthemoon@gmail.com.
