Posted: 10/21/06 at 7:40pmI like them actually. I really like the costumes, too! They look so chill.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Posted: 10/21/06 at 7:42pmJenn Colella looks so pretty in that picture where she's "seducing" Will Chase. It kind of reminded me of the whole "Let Me Come Home" thing from THE WEDDING SINGER.

She's not. She's hard and unlikable and far too angular.
What's "amazing" about the sets is how they seem to construct themselves, and disolve, and divide, and split screen.

Does anyone know if this rumor that High Fidelity is going to close out of town and not come to NYC is true? I've heard it from several people now and I am inclined to think it is a strong possibility based on the press and buzz in Boston.
If so, I wonder what will go into the Imperial.

Posted: 10/21/06 at 10:50pmI highly doubt that they'd go ahead and cancel it. Too many plans have been made.

Posted: 10/22/06 at 10:37amI'm seeing the final performance today, so I'll listen around and if I here anyone talking about alternative plans for the Broadway run I'll be sure to post them here.

"Too many plans have been made."
It's a heck of a lot cheaper to cancel all the plans, take down the marquee, etc, than it is put the show up in NY, for even a week.

Posted: 10/22/06 at 1:10pmWell it happened with Mambo Kings recently. I think they should fix the problems with the show and go ahead and mount it. It sounds like it has some redeeming qualties about it, so at least it's not a total lost cause.

I think with all the changes that have been reported (esp to act one) in the last week...its safe to say it will still come in.
If they were going to scrap the NY run (which begins in under a month) something would have been said by now.
