Sat through HIGH yesterday, and pretty well agree with Penny -- you can just feel the cliche checklist being ticked off one by one by one by one by one. Slickly produced, and well enough acted, and you just can't deny Ms. Turner's skill and comic timing, but the play just doesn't come together into anything particularly interesting and is certainly nothing new.
Except to those people who were standing and cheering, evidently. Opinions will differ, clearly.

Williams and Turner are both excellent in their respective plays, and I enjoyed both for different reasons, though neither is great. High, as others have said, is cliche ridden and predictable, but very engaging. Bengal is pretentious and at times dull, but I ultimately enjoyed the message.
