HOORAY!!!!! HOWARD DAVIES returns to Broadway

Having seen the upcoming Broadway transfer of MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN in London, I can only say that Howard Davies (once again) establishes himself as one of the Master directors working on the international scene. Perhaps it was the "misfire" production of MY FAIR LADY with Richard Chamberlain and a very young Melissa Errico that put a slight blemish on his reputation.
On Broadway: PIAF (Jane Lapotaire - TONY), GOOD (Alan Howard), LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES (Rickman and Duncan), PRIVATE LIVES (Rickman and Duncan, again!), THE ICEMAN COMETH (Spacey),and a very passionate CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (Turner)are the answer to a true theatre lover's prayer. Mr. Davies is "the real deal", and I can only say - welcome home!!!
Perhaps a Tony this season?
