Posted: 1/20/11 at 12:05pmnytix has Wonderland listed as "coming soon" which suggests to me that they know something we don't.

Posted: 1/20/11 at 9:33pmInteresting How two discount is valida AFTER the opening. Would you think they usually offer during the previews? They don't have a confidence in the show? (After the review the tix sales wouldn't jump up??)
#8HOW TO SUCCEED Discount Code - FINALLY!
Posted: 1/20/11 at 11:51pmThey need to fill the first few weeks of the run, previews or actual performances. They can't expect everyone to read a great review and run out to buy tickets the next day enough that the first few weeks of their run would be full. I doubt the don't have faith in how well they'll be reviewed, but rather that they don't have faith that they could sell out the first few performances after opening immediately on the strength of the reviews. Does that make sense?

Posted: 1/21/11 at 4:24pmI understand what you mean, Cockeyed, but typically, a show offers a discount during the preview performances and beyond for a few weeks. In How To case, they don't offer a discount during the preview and the price is the same (preview vs after the opening) so I was wondering why.
#10HOW TO SUCCEED Discount Code - FINALLY!
Posted: 1/22/11 at 12:48amOh, got it. I didn't realizing they weren't discounting for previews. Maybe they're waiting to see how many Harry Potter brings in in the next few weeks before deciding to discount previews? It is odd that they are discounting post-opening shows, but not previews.

Posted: 1/22/11 at 6:25amThey are discounting previews. On the info for the discount on broadwaybox it lists incorrect dates as if the discount is post-opening. However, if you click into the discount, it is for the entire preview period too.
