“HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH” is proud to be making their Hudson Valley debut this April, presented by The Castaway Players Theatre Company. This groundbreaking, critically acclaimed Off-Broadway smash also won multiple awards for its hit film adaptation that has since become a cult phenomenon, a la “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. It's a rocking ride, funny, touching and ultimately inspiring to anyone who has felt life gave them an inch when they deserved a mile.

Directed by Melissa Matthews, and starring Sean Matthew Whiteford as Hedwig. The on-stage rock band features indie rock artist, Frank McGinnis, Henry Staats and Matt Woolever. The Castaway Players Theatre Company is known for their exceptional talent and unique, refreshing productions. Acclaimed director of the Asbury Park premiere of "Hedwig", Anthony D'Amato raves that Castaway is "exciting and creative...feats that theatre companies that have been around for many years are still trying to achieve."
