If the fantastic Harvey leaves Hairspray.
There is one Edna who should be Edna.
That is the one and only Dame Edna.
I would pay double to see THE DAME as Edna!

Yes but forget London,
We need Damey here in the USA.
My only complaint about Edna is her politics.
But she would make the next best Edna after the Divine one!(HARVEY)

No, Bruce Vilanch is playing Edna on tour. Dame Edna is still rumored to open the show in the West End

Dame Edna Everage (Barry Humphries) is currently touring Australia in a show titled 'Back to My Roots, and Other Suckers'. In this show Barry Humphries performs other characters as well as Dame Edna, these include Sir Les Patterson and Sandy Stone. The (Dame Edna) U.S tour resumes in October.

No, broadwayguy. I meant Dame Edna's tour that's starting up in October.
