Hairspray..worth seeing

The tour is coming to my town this year and I don't know if I want to see it. Is it a must see or is it one to catch 1/2 price on the tkts line when in NY?

I want to hear all opinions please.

Definitely worth seeing. I've seen both the NY production and the touring show in LA. Buy tickets and enjoy!! Don't miss a great show.

Absolutely! Not sure what the casting's like at the moment, but it's such a fun show anyway. you'll have a good time.
i'm seeing it in nyc again tonight. bruce's first performance - hope he improved....

I have seen the tour twice and it's one of the better tours out there today. They did not cut corners in terms of cast size, sets, costumes, etc. On first viewing, I actually preferred the tour to the B-way company. But I have since seen the B-way company 5 more times and they're just as great.
