Does anyone know until when Harvey Fierstein will be in the show? Thanks in advance.

I really do not think he has a set date to leave. I have heard maybe summer of 04...

Thanks. I saw the show back in March and I loved it. I want to send my parents to see it, but they prefer to go on a Sunday afternoon. Do you think it is risky will they see understudies instead (especially Harvey). Sorry to be a nag....

Nope. I believe Harvey and the others perform matinees.

Harvey has yet to miss a show also. If he's scheduled, odds are he'll be there.

Thanks. I guess you recommend Wicked. I thought Laura Bell Bundy was great in Hairspray. I didn't know what to expect since I have only see her on a soap.

I remember last year when I saw Hairspray in January, I decided to see it again as I enjoyed it so much. When I went to buy tickets in the summer, the man at the ticket booth said he was leaving in maybe July of that year. So I got tickets for July and saws the original cast again. Mostly all the other stars left in August but he never did. So who knows.

Thanks everyone! I just bought the tickets through ticketmaster. I got orchestra seats for Jan 4th. How those tickets were available is beyond me but I got them now!

i dunno. he was great but don't try and take his picture after the show. he'll yell at you. (i'm kinda bitter)

Yea, he was really sweet when I met him, but he doesn't take pictures- thats kinda understandable I guess.

Yeah, I asked for a picture and he pulled Marisa over and told me that she takes pictures. Lol.
