so......I'll start with the fact that 30 minutes into the show my partner turned to me and said 'Why the hell didn't we see this on Broadway when it was new." I looked at him and said......"because you didn't want to."

well he's kicking himself now.

Everyone in the cast was SO energetic, I mean everyone.
Keala can MOVE......and she really gave it her all.

Paul as Corny was amazing......I really though he was the character.

Aaron as Link was ok....not my favorite role. Loved his singing voice, but that's about all....it could however have been the character and not him.

Hayley as Penny Pingleton was AMAZING.......she can move sing, and funny as all hell. She and Keala were great together.

Both Alan as Seaweed and Charlotte as motormouth could really belt them out, simply in awe of them.

Jim Bullock as Wilber had two great numbers, and always makes me laugh.

JP as Edna was simply enchanting........I can't even say enough about how much we loved him in that role.

I've seen the original Broadwat cast do this show...(won't say how, don't ask).......and I have to say, with the exception, maybe.....and I mean only maybe of the role of Tracy, I liked the LAS cast better.

The sets and art direction fabulous........

I just can't say enough about this. If you want a fun time, a laugh, and an escape...SEE THIS!
It's not great art.........but it is so entertaining.

I wish Elphaba. I wish.

"Celebrating a birthday this week: Rene Descartes is 412! Do you know who he is? Then why are you watching this show? You could probably get into college and even get one of those job things. As for the rest of us; Amanda Bynes is 22! Yay!"

eat, sorry I missed your post....didn't read it til now.

Just got back from LA....and we LOVED that production of Hairspray......Tomorrow I'll post my review.

I was just so thrilled with this cast, and the energy they all put into it.

Highlights JP and Jim J. Bullock duet 'Timeless to me"...especially when Jim lost it and cracked up, Big, Blond, and Beautiful....and You can't stop the beat....

all I can say is FABULOUS! More later

Yep...Jim laughs every night in every city.

So glad you enjoyed the cast. So happy that Hayley got to play the role of Penny in Reno and LA. She is usually Tammy. For the last two weeks of the tour, Melissa Larsen, who usually plays Brenda will be play Penny and Hayley will go back to Tammy. Jennie for with swith from Tammy to Brenda. Tricky!

Aaron as Link was OK... i really enjoyed him... but is voice needed a bit more OOMPH, you know? that guy had the look, the moves, everything... but i wished his voice was stronger... but i did like him... and Haley as Penny was HILARIOUS! HILARIOUS! during BIG BLONDE AND BEAUTIFUL she was cracking me and my friends up when she was just kinda dancing with all the women but like skipping around.... and Charlotte Crossley as Motormouth was 100x better from when i saw her last time at the Pantages... it's like she went all or nothing with that number... and Alan Mingo, Jr. as Seawood just the same... although Terron Brooks who played it last time at the Pantages was slightly better... man i really want to see this show now when i go to new york at the end of the month!

Wait, Hayley told me like a week ago that she was finishing out the tour as Penny. When did this change?
