Posted: 2/16/07 at 3:36pmThat happened to me once. I had tickets to see Jerrys Girls and got stuck on the N train for 20 minutes and missed most of act 1. I love the whole storyline with the father and how the gay son is opening his eyes. lovely. What a great show.

Posted: 2/16/07 at 3:43pmI love that show so much and that kid (Justin) is adorable. I think his storyline is so brave and relevant today. The broadway references are icing on a delicious cake.

Easily the best episode of 'Ugly Betty' so far, and that's coming from someone who loves the series. Far too many people dismiss it without realising there are some brilliant characters being portrayed by wonderful actors. But while I want to give mad props to Justin for being one of the best male Tracy Turnblads ever, and to Santos for standing up for him, and Lucy Liu for ripping off Daniel's shirt (yeah, I'm in it for the fanservice, sorry ^_^), the maddest props HAVE to go to Wilhelmina for punching that assclown. God bless Vanessa Williams, I guess. ^_^
I'd love 'Ugly Betty' even without the constant musical theatre references. :3

"Reprise!"
Loved every moment of it.
*Hated* the improvisational dress. My design was infinitely better.

Sean,
Why is it your designs are always better?

I watched Ugly Betty last night only for the Hairspray storyline. Loved it. The kid was so funny, & his voice wasn't too shabby. The dad was being so awesome for standing up to his son

Posted: 2/18/07 at 1:55pmOMG! This was the cutest episode!! It was like something I would do! And appropriate timing considering I saw Hairspray for the 5th time 2 days later! Today, in the car home from NYC we passed Baltimore and of course, my mom and I start singing "Good Morning Baltimore!"

Posted: 2/19/07 at 4:24amI also loved the Miss Saigon reference when Justin realized the train was stopping and the lights went out, "Why, God, why???"

THANK YOU! I was watching and thinking THAT is what beat me?!? It was so awful and used so FEW of the required materials. My design was full of color and used at least HALF the list! What was yours like?
OH PS - LOVED the episode and totally cried when Santos stood up for Justin!

There's a link in the next post, but here's the list:
paper clips
post it notes
light bulb filaments
clear tubing
photocopy paper
trash bags
bubble wrap
duct tape
white plastic sheeting
fabric swatches
I think it was about half the list as well.
