Hairspray's Michael Longoria and the CD Release Party

So I attended the sold out CD release party of Michael Longoria's debut album, "Under 1000 Shades of Blue". I am floored. Really. I was expecting some sort of musical theater cabaret or something in that vein. But the show was something out of this world. Michael's writing is so smart and beautiful. His voice is effortlessly powerful with a range that I can only describe as a gift. And I was so moved by the evening that I have to tell anyone who was not there to go to his website and buy his cd. www.michaellongoria.com The night was filled with Broadway stars supporting this unique singer-songwriter with a truly positive and enlightening message. Thanks for your report. I had wanted to go, but sometimes it's a bit difficult since I live in DC. I'm so happy he's selling the CD via his website. Last time I corresponded with Michael he wasn't too sure about how to obtain the CD after the launch party.

By the way, your link to his website doesn't work, as well as the link to purchase the CD.
