Hamilton Lyric Change

Just back from seeing Hamilton in London.

There was a change in the lyrics to "Take a Break' -- The line 'John Adams doesn't have a real job' became 'the Vice President does have a real job"

Since I have only seen this before in NYC with the original cast, I don't know if the change was made for a British audience or if the change is now used everywhere?

(Oh -- while the London production was very good, it seemed like none of them was any darn good at rapping. Maybe that really is an American thing?)

The three lyric changes LMM made for the West End:

1) "Vice President isn't a real job anyway" instead of "John Adams doesn't have a real job anyway"

2) "Jersey, dawn" instead of "Weehawken, dawn"

3) "We'll have him over, propose it" instead of "Well, I propose the Potomac"
