Looking for an opening night playbill for Hamilton. Having looked at a few listings on eBay I am wondering why there are two versions one has the sticker on the right upper corner and another has the same sticker on the left upper corner. Is one of these counterfeit?. Why would they have two different versions for a one night only performance. Is this common?
I am also seeking a playbill from the off-Broadway production as I just obtained a window card and would love to have this as a companion piece!
As well can anybody tell me what promotional items they had for the opening night or for the show in general either at the public or on Broadway.
I am a collector I would love to obtain these items. Hoping someone can help with this information or perhaps would like to sell or trade some items from one Hamilton fan to another! Thx

Firstly these are very valuable and veey rare items, so I wish you the best of luck in finding them (I am looking for them myself)!
To address your concern about some opening nights with stickers and some without, this is completely normal. There are 2 ways to obtain an Opening Night Playbill: either get one from the theater on or around opening night, or you can buy them directly from Playbill on their online store. If you buy from Playbill they will have the sticker, and if you get it from the theater they will not. As to which is more valuable, it completely depends on your preferences as a collector. I personally like the sticker better for displaying purposes.

So if the playbill obtained at the theatre on opening night does not have the opening night sticker what distinguishes it from the regular playbill?

It doesn't. For example, I have a Cats opening night playbill that doesn't have a sticker. It looks exactly the same as one my friend got the day before.

The opening night playbills have "Opening Night" and the date inscribed above the title page.

Thanks for pointing is out! I've only been to one opening night, fiddler, and I was disappointed that there wasn't anytHing distinguishable about the Playbill. But you are correct - just checked my Fiddler playbill and saw opening night on the title page!
