I wanted to order tickets for my university monologue class to see Hamlet on broadway.
Why are these tickets SO expensive? They show a rate of $25 for rear mezz, but these tickets don't even show up when i search.
Is there any way to get cheap tickets to this show?

The $25 tickets are sold out for the entire run. Even for single seats.
According to Playbill there is rush: "Student Rush: $35 - a limited number of student tickets will be sold on the day of performance when the box office opens. Subject to availability and number may vary. Limit 1 ticket per valid ID."
Though depending on the size of your class (if you mean you want to take your class, I couldn't tell from your wording), you might qualify for some kind of group rate but based on some supposed "group" rates I've seen you're not saving much.
