This is an nice interview with broadway performer Laura Osnes. I usually refrain from posting Grease related stuff on this board but I think this website has an important message. Media often promotes poor self image in young girls/women and it's important to teach them that they're already beautiful.
If you scroll through past interviews you'll see one with Daphne Rubin-Vega as well.

To take it a step further women who are seen as "conventionally beautiful" can be more insecure. I've met quite a few of them. They're so used to being judged by their looks alone that they often feel that's all they're good for. So they can become obsessive about keeping their looks up and it can be a vicious circle. Not saying all beautiful women are like this but it isn't uncommon.
Besides, that's their celebrity section. They want to interview young women and how many non-beautiful celebrity women are out there? Not many. That's part of what fuels all of this.
