A friend of mine bumped into her at intermission of a show she was seeing. My friend who was active on Broadway suddenly became starstruck and babbled about how much he always loved here, etc., etc.
She listened intently, smiled, then said, "That's sweet, honey, but right now La Merm has to piss." And she headed off to the ladies'.
