Wow really short preview period. Opening night was the 21st Dec.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

30 YEARS ALREADY!?! What a thrilling, thrilling production. What a thrilling day-I saw the matinee of Nine, and spent the evening with Dreamgirls, a theatrical highlight of my life.

Dreamgirls was my very first Broadway show. I remember coming down from CT on the train to see the matinee (with the original cast!) with my grandmother. A truly magical day for me!
