I have seats for the London concert on Dec 2nd. It is amazing that this woman looks and works the way she does at 80- must be all the love she gets from a world full of fans. Her concert is at the magnificent London Coliseium, home of English National Opera. Her guests that night are Elainge Paige, Ruthie Henshall, Sian Phillips, Maureen Lipman and the London Gay Mens Chorus. Its presented to coincide with World Aids Day. The first time i saw in concert was when she did a four week season in the West End at the Albery (now Noel Coward). It was a Thursday night two weeks into the run and there were 37 people in a house of 875! After singing her opening number she chatted to the audience opening with the declaration 'we may be few but we will be mighty' and she continued to perform as if she was in front of 10,000 people. The show was called 'Wait 'till You See Her'. The next time i saw was her 'Live In London' concert at Sadlers Wells which is available on CD- again this was for World Aids day. The next concert will be the first time ive seen her perform without Wally Harper who sadly passed away a few years back. Happy Bitrhday Barbara! X

I want to see her when she comes to NYC. I saw her when she was doing Barbara Cook on Broadway. Fabulous!
