Having seen both BFO and Caroline, I thought that both young men were outstanding. Of course, with age both will continue to mature and improve. I hope that even we adult actors will continue to improve as we work on our craft.

Also, Mitchel David was nominated for both the Outer Critics and Drama Desk awards for Featured Actor/Musical.

I saw Harrison Chad in Les Mis a few years ago. He was ok. He didnt really have any stage presence and he kind of just stood their and sang. I saw him in Caroline and he has improved alot.

I cannot believe someone would think that Mitchel David Federan isn't a good actor or singer. The few moments he has on stage he is deftly able to outshine Hugh Jackman (in those scenes) and is an incredibly talented dancer as well.

I don't think child actors can transform themselves into different characters (something many adults can't do either), but if their personalities match those of their characters all they need is poise.

Haley Joel Osment and Dakota Fanning are just two recent child actors that I think have shown much range. There are many more. Some people just have the gift from birth--I wish we wouldn't generalize.

Federan was absolutely sensational in BFO and Chad was equally fine in Caroline - he has SO MUCH singing to do, much of it unaccompanied, and his intonation is perfect at all times.

Re William Ulrich, he was recently in the Encores Bye Bye Birdie and when he did his solo turn in the reprise of "Kids" he brought the house down.

All three of these kids are loaded with talent.

Faced with these Loreleis, what man can moralize!

I saw Mitchel David Federan in BFO and thougth he was stellar! For a young kid to be able to dance like that...well I was amazed. As for Harrison Chad, I don't recall having ever seen him so I can't offer any opinion.

Hey Emcee, the character he played in Les Miz was Gavrouch.

Dakota Fanning is by far the best child actress I have ever seen. When you watch her, you feel like shes been acting for 30 years, but she is only 8.

Dakota Fanning is amazing. I hope that she doesn't get trashed in her teens like so many child stars do. I hope she has a long career ahead of her. If she is smart, she will.

Being a broadway kid in A Christmas Carol, its amazing to see who is on Broadway. Mithchel is like a miricle for dance. Harrison has the best voice and William from nine is talented in terms of voice. They all have personal storys too outside the theater community. Yet, some of them act older than their age.

I had a good experience meeting william him at a broadway event. He is very nice. For me(A Christmas Carol 2002), it was nice to know him. He always says the nicest things and we both worked with Susan Stroman.
