My friend Jessie used to joke that I was "Thoroughly Modern Jamie," and that she was my Miss Dorothy. I had a mini-crush on my boss, and there was a cute dancing boy who got into all sorts of trouble with me. So I guess it works.

There's always room for pathos - and jazz hands.
