Has Evil Dead: The Musical started filming yet?

I've read in a few places that Sam Raimi gave them permission & they were to begin filming in Spring 2009. Has it started yet or was it called off?

Last I had heard was that permission had been granted, but that was about it in terms of moving forward. Consider it still lingering in development limbo.

Hopefully they get it off the ground. I guess for now I have to watch the grainy pro-shot video

Wow, this is the first I've heard of a film adaptation! How did this slip by my attention?
I was just wondering if it was going to be 3D to imitate the splatter zone and checked wiki to see that is is! Yay!
This is gonna be great, I saw the show Off-Bway and I loved it. I sat in the splatter zone but was too far off to the right to get any blood shot my way; though I did get to experience a historic performance, because the night I saw the show the female undestudy was on for Cheryl and she sprained her ankle during the forest scene so they had the male understudy take her place.
