Has Liza seen TBFO?

I was just wondering. I've never read anywhere that she attended a performance. And if not, will she see it before it's gone?

When the original version opened in Sydney she sent a representative over to see how she was portrayed in the show.Reportedly she was happy so was willing to leave it be.

In my opinion, she's portrayed as a very likable character in the show. She should definately see herself. I would want to see myself portrayed in a Broadway show--how often is that opportunity presented?!

She discussed whether or not to attend quite intently with close friends who were willing to accompany her as a support system in case it got to be too emotional or traumatic an experience.

Then there was the issue of being mobbed by fans in the audience at what could turn out to be a very private and personal moment. And the prospect of detracting from the show (the audience watching Liza for her reaction rather than concentrating on the show itself).

She considered going to a preview, then considered again several weeks after the hoopla of opening had passed. In the end, she took a pass...even to being snuck in and watching it from backstage.

She has kept her distance.

No disrespect to her or anything, but it f she saw it, or anything on Broadway, I'd bet shed somehow make a spectacle of herself in some way, shape or form... She's one of those people that like to draw everyone's attention to herself.

When I saw Millie once she was there. And she was so LIZA and it was so great to see her in person!

I heard she wasnt going to see TBFO at all. I dont blame her because would you like to see your mom's death, your breakups, and turmoil performed on stage? But, if i was a performer in TBFO I would love to have her watch it.

timote316 - I'm not sure it's fair to say she 'likes to draw attention to herself.' Since the day she was born she has been subjected to the UTMOST scrutiny - to the point where, even if she wanted to, it wouldn't be possible to have a 'normal' life. I think she's done the best she could dealing with the problems she's faced in life while having a microscope shoved up her @ss.
