I won't be seeing it until this Friday but I was just wondering if there are any early reports.

It's a summertime by the beach, young people's coming-of-age play. These are often entertaining, as is this one, for the most part. The play offers some fresh writing, quirky characters, and a certain poignancy that is inherent in these tales as summer flies by. An older person serves as a quasi-narrator, and I felt his presence was more importunate than entertaining or enlightening. There is also a certain amount of role-playing exercises that I found arch and far-fetched.
