If not, they should be.
I;m not sure, but when I was very young, I did see them live. it was some sort of tour that they were doing. I don't remember a thing from it though. I was really, really young
Hahaha, it would be funny to see Miss Piggy sing defying gravity
hasn't anyone seen "Muppets take Manhattan?"
Haha, that would be great. I'd love to see Tim Curry reprise his role in Muppet Treasure Island on stage =)
But actually since I live on the other side of America anyway, I probably wouldn't actually see it...

Yes, but Kermit has the better colouring to play Elphaba. No makeup needed. Piggy'd make a great Glinda, however. :)
I'd also like to see Animal as Fiyero. He could just run around chasing Glinda and Elphaba yelling, "Woooomann!!!"
(sorry, I love the Muppets)

I LOVED The Muppets Take Manhattan!
oh, if only QM were here... Muppets ABOUND on Broadway.
Look at us. Here we are. Right where we belong. The curtain's up and the lights are bright and they're playing our old song!
Sorry, what?
LOL They can have Elphaba and Kermit break into a version of "It's Not Easy Being Green."
I think you're on to something MissElphie
that would be so awesome if the muppets were on Broadway! Maybe....like....THE MUPPETS THE MUSICAL
hmm...interesting....
They can give Avenue Q a run for their money.
after seeing the muppets wizard of oz, which wasn't too awful i'm rather disappointed in the new voices of the muppets... they seem like pale immitations as opposed to more faithful recreations (take for example rick lyon doing ernie....er i mean nickie in comparison to the new fozzie)
Of course I thought of Muppets Take Manhattan as soon as I saw this!
Somebody's Getting Married...
While I think the muppets on broadway, especially with the success of Q would be great, with Jim dead and Frank Oz pretty uninvolved with them, it just would be a disappointment to those of us who love the Muppets in their time.
"somebody's getting marrrrried today!"
haha.
who wrote the music for the Muppets take Manhatten?
My favorite line in that movie is Janice in the locker says, "I want one with a Jacuzzi!" Cracks me up every single time.
Which Muppet Are You?
Hmmm....
"You are Rowlf. You are a loner, and love classical music, You can play the piano without opposable thumbs. Then again, you are just a Muppet. ALSO KNOWN AS: Ol' Brown Ears HOBBIES: Piano playing, punning, fetching. QUOTE: "My bark is worse than my bite, and my piano playing beats 'em both." FAVORITE MOVIE: "The Dogfather" FAVORITE COMPOSER: Poochini FAVORITE SONG: "I've Never Harmed An Onion, So Why Should They Make Me Cry?" "
Hmm, I always thought of myself more of a cross between Piggy and Gonzo...

Now that Disney owns the Muppets, and is always looking to get more involved on the Broadway scene - it'd be great if the Muppets could make a debut on the Great White Way. I'm not sure how it could work, since the Muppets have never had the puppeteers visible like in Q, but I think it would be great! I would definitely be there.

Uh yeah. That would be phenomenal. The muppets just own. Me and my friend match them to characters in Altar Boyz one time, heh, good times.
I would love the muppets on Broadway. After seeing Kermit do a duet with Justin Timberlake(poor Kermit) of Rainbow Connection, he does have wonderous comedic timing. And clearly, that's a wonderful song.
