I love the sequel!!! I'd direct that :)
and I have the pleasure of playing Prof. Hill this summer! I'm so excited to move up from villain to anti-hero (and it's fun to have a role that actually makes me have to work; villains have become too easy)

Going back a couple dozen posts, it's "a gilt-edged guarantee", not "a guilt that's guaranteed".
That is all.

TheatreDiva, that picture is HILARIOUS!
Back to the topic... 'The Music Man' is a work of genius! It was the first (and second) show I was ever in.

Posted: 6/3/10 at 8:01amTHE MUSIC MAN is a perfectly constructed show with wonderful musical numbers. I regret never seeing the original production, but have enjoyed Bob Gunton and Dick Van Dyke as Harold Hill. The Onna White choreography and the use of the Barbershop Quartette to settle differences help to make this show special. The transfer to film was in general very good, although the omitting of "My White Knight" from the movie was unforgivable. Hearing Barbara Cook sing that number on the OBCR is pure heaven.
