You guys make me sick. The kid is just trying to realize a dream and to continue in the creation of a new musical theater work. Maybe this isn't the perfect venue to ask for money, but then again, maybe it's a brilliant choice for him to try to find any audience. But why piss on someone's dreams? Put yourself in this kid's shoes: there were probably a combo of nerves and excitement in intro'ing his show on here... And instead of just ignoring what you deem an unworthy project, you throw a bunch of negativity on his post. Aren't we all supposed to be theater lovers and trying to support each other and the emerging artists in this? Isn't there enough negativity in this world?
I don't know this composer, but in seeing his video, he epitomizes the bright eyed hopefuls that bring passion to this world of theater. And that youthful enthusiasm is rewarded by a couple of nasty theater queens acting like jaded jerks.
I say congratulations on completing your musical and I hope you find a life for it. Who knows... This kid may be the next Jason Robert Brown for all we know. And you two numb nuts can enjoy the dubious distinction of crapping on his first intro to theater fans.
Like my Bubbe Rifke used to say, "lighten up, who died and made you Hamlet?"

Especially when the title is "Girlfriend from Hell: The Musical"
"why piss on someone's dreams?"
Exactly, billyboyA!
This kid could be the next David Merrick! And although I'll be giving him a check on the 32nd of Neverary, there's no need to discourage him.
Follow ur dreams kid.

Damn, Newintown, I don't want to like you, but that Hamlet comment was REALLY funny, and I'm sorta finding myself liking you... Just take it easy on the sweet kids... Let 'em have their dreams...
Hamlet... That was very funny...
