I just saw that somebody posted about needing to know how to play Erzulie in Once on this Island, which then led me to post this. Anyways, I was just cast as Mama Euralie in a production of Once on this Island. I know the storyline and everything, but what I need help is Mama Euralie's character. Can anyone tell me what her character is like? That would help a great deal! I think one of the reasons I am still very unsure on what her character is like is because we haven't gotten our scripts yet, so I am haven't gotten to read my character indepth yet.
So, if anyone could help me, it would be very appreciated!

And...not to be rude...
But that's your job as the actor to discover what she is like! It's why we act. To discover other people. At least, I think so.

Thanks for the help, Pab! You gave me exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want some big long thing on what my character was supposed to be like, but I wanted a little bit of what my character is supposed to be like, so it would give me more of a chance to explore my character. So thank you very much for your help!
