Reeve Carney, though unnominated, should have won the Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. I know many people disagree with me. But many people also voted for Donald Trump. I think voting for Santino Fontana for the aforementioned award is about as stupid as voting for Trump, though I admit it’s much more benign.

I thought they got everything right - it may have been the best musical of the season, with a strong supporting male performance and innovative score but it didn’t have a great book and the leading man’s voice is...polarizing..to say the least.

It's a near universal rule that a mamm performing in heels will rack up wins in award season. I find Santino's performance vanilla but... eh.

I do believe Damon Daunno gave the best lead performance of the season.
