This was aired on PBS, but there were extra songs that didn't make it to the aired version. There are some that were addded for the CD, but is the CD different from the DVD. let me explain.
You'll Never Walk Alone, Do you Hear the People sing were in the show but not aired. But are on the CD. Are they on the DVD?
I Dreamed a Dream and All I Ask of You were in the show. They were not aired on TV, and they are not on the CD. Are they on the DVD?
Thanks.
Where can I find the DVD? Any place that isn't online?
you can buy it at Amazon, or go to Barnes and Noble and have them order it for you.
I know that PBS sometimes takes songs/scenes off these kind of shows because then they can use those "bonus mintues" as a selling point for their members.

And because Hey, Mr. Producer is incredibly bloated. :) Hey, there's lots of good points to that show- but it also goes on waaaay too long.
does anyone seen the DVD and have an anser to my question? I'm sure someone has seen it.

I agree - the scene from Carousel with "You'll Never Walk Alone" is incredibly long. I think the best three moments are Broadway Baby done by all the divas - Gotta Get A Gimmick - especially Bernadette on the trumpet, and Judy Dench in the Little Night Music bit. This show was edited differently by PBS also for East coast and West coast broadcasting during the pledge drives, so that might be another reason for the change.
does the DVD have I Dreamed a Dream, Do you Hear.., All I Ask of You and You'll Never Walk Alone on it?
