Too bad, while the play can be hard to get right, it's one of my all time favorites and as much as I feel kinda overexposed to Franco and his myriad of projects, I was intrigued by the casting.

Posted: 5/13/12 at 10:20pmFranco dropped out of the production and it went into postponement limbo. Cromer very much wanted to direct the play (and I assume still does), but I don't know if Kidman is even still interested.

The guy has spread himself pretty thin anyway--or at least he pops up everywhere--those two beat poet indie movies, all the online stuff, his role on General Hospital, the weird pseudo documentary he's making, still apparently getting a degree, bla bla bla. He should have just done the play :P
