Hiptix After Party

Apologies if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find a thread on it. Have any of you ever attended this Hiptix After Party? Is it worth checking out or should I just head to the stage door as planned?

I've been to one once. It's very nice they do it, but you are looking to meet a specific actor I'd wait at the stage door. Mostly it's just a free glass of wine or two inside whichever theater the show is in.

If memory serves me correctly, all the Hiptix party really entails is a free drink with other Hiptix members. Performers don't attend, which I think is a common misconception of these parties.

When I went to the HipTix after-party for Into The Woods the actors were all there. I think it depends on the show.

For that after-party, there was an open wine/beer/vodka bar at a pub down the street with lots of cheese & crackers and other finger foods.

Thanks, guys. It might be fun to hang out to the other HipTix audience members but since I don't drink I think I'll just head to the stage door.
