Posted: 6/12/06 at 2:28pmI was intrigued by Nicholas Hytner's statement in his acceptance speech on the Tonys that he and Alan Bennett had done 2 movies together. I knew of The Madness of King George, but didn't know what the other one was. A quick trip to IMDB told me that it's a movie version of The History Boys. Was this common knowledge? I hadn't heard anything about it. IMDB lists it as completed and has the UK release as October 2006. Nothing on US release.

Yup, we've discussed it here before. I believe its set to open here in September after they close. I'm excited about it though.
