Posted: 6/2/06 at 4:27pmIt's exactly how it sounds. You're standing through the show. The overhang blocks the top part of the stage.

Posted: 6/3/06 at 1:34pmDoes anyone have all the details on Standing Room for History Boys? What exactly is the SRO policy? How much are the tickets? How many do they sell? Do they sell them in advance and, if so, how far in advance or only the day of the show? Do they sell them for all performances or only like Tuesday-Thursday? Thanks so much

I did standing room a few weeks ago at History Boys. The ledge was a bit high, so it wasn't the most comfortable SRO experience I've ever had (not that they're ever particularly "comfy" experiences). I liked the Plymouth (or whatever the hell that theater is now). Their ledge was low enough that you could lean on it, but the Broadhurst kind of came to my nose! Though, I did luck out getting seats for Act II (a pair of people just never showed up two rows in front of us). It is a long show to stand for (great as it is).
Oh, and I guess they're selling the tix in advance ...not sure how far (I bought mine for a Saturday mat the afternoon before the show). I have no idea how many spots there are either.
