I read an article on here last week about History Boys offering student rush for all April performances, but it didn't give any info about what time they would go on sale. I have been searching everywhere and even called Broadhurst Theatre and they didn't even have a clue. Just wondering if anyone had heard anything and can help me out because I really want to see this show Saturday lol. Thanks!!
I found this on telecharge.com...
Student Tickets (available for performances thru April 30 only): $26.25 - Available at the Box Office only - May be purchased in advance with valid student ID - Limit 2 per ID - Subject to availability.
I went and bought my ticket for Tuesday's show earlier this week. I just asked for a student ticket...though she didn't ask to see my ID. And I asked if I could pay for it with a credit card seeing as I didn't have the cash on me without going to an ATM, and she let me. Also, I was given seats BB 103 and 104.
Fantastic!! Thanks a bunch!!
So you can buy your tickets for shows in advance? Very cool! Thanks.
Go. Buy your tickets. NOW!
Wait- student rush in advance?????? Are you sure?
Bought my advance student rush tickets earlier this week. Too excited!

Per playbill.com and other sources, student rush may only be through 4/30??, However, Talkin B'Way "On the Boards" does not have any such stipulations (like it ends April 30)It simply states that they offer student rush if available...
Can anyone give some clarity to this??
Thanks

The signage at the box office says only 'til April 30th. Used my student rush tickets yesterday- who knows, they might extend it?

No worries. I hope so too- I'd see it again!
I meant to ask when I went to the show yesterday. If anyone happens to go by and finds out if they still have rush (and if it's still advance rush) that'd be SUPER!
I maintain that the obstructed front/side orchestra should remain set aside. I'd be livid if I spent $100 and couldn't see half the stage during the numerous classroom scenes.
I hope they keep it...well, no, I probably don't. I think I'd end up seeing the show an obscene number of times if they do keep it!

My rush ticket, for the front row, was an absolutely wonderful seat.

The box office told me they didn't have it anymore, but you can find coupons for the back rows of the mezz in the upper $40's.
could anyone tell me where I can find the coupon? I truly want to see this show when I visit New York this weekend. But I cannot afford the full price.
