Okay here's my problem: i'm seeing WICKED again on may 27, i just saw DRS last month, i wanna see it again, but i also have an opportunity to see Phantom Of The Opera, Jersey Boys and Avenue Q. Which show should i see?
And you could base it upon your opinion of the show only if you saw it. I don't wanna make a big mistake not seeing a show i could have enjoyed :)
Thanks!

Phantom is, of course, a classic. Most people I know who aren't into Broadway enjoy it.
Avenue Q happens to be quite a bit of fun.
Jersey Boys is good - but not the best of the three...and not the best if you aren't into the style of music.
I would go with Avenue Q.

I would say skip Phantom and try to catch Ave Q or Jersey Boys. I haven't seen Jersey Boys, but it is definately on my to do list. Avenue Q is a lot of fun but it is pretty raunchy, so if you're not into that kind of stuff, you might not like it. I personally do not care for Phantom, but I know a lot of people who love it.

i'd say either PHANTOM or JERSEY BOYS
depends on what musical style you like...either one is fabulous (havent seen JB,but have cd, and seeing it in july)!
enjoy!

Posted: 4/3/06 at 8:37pmAvenue Q is very very funny. You do realize it's called "The Dirty Puppet Show" because it's done with Sesame Street-style puppets (saying things that would make Big Bird turn purple). Boys From Jersey is very polished but if you don't like the music, it can be more like a Las Vegas act. Phantom is a classic with something from all the food groups but by now has become quite a tourist attraction. I haven't seen it in a decade, so I can't vouch for its freshness. So for me, it's Ave Q.

I'd always opt for a good show I haven't seen than to repeat a good show I have seen. The only two on your list I've seen are DRS and Avenue Q. I enjoyed them both, especially DRS, but if you haven't seen Q, maybe it's time.

Definitely Jersey Boys would be my suggestion! It rocks! Great music, especially talented cast & a compelling story.
Choice #2 would be Avenue Q. It's truly hilarious!
