Okay, I posted the idea on the Movical thread, but then I thought the idea was so good that it deserved its own thread.
I really want to see this done... if only I could compose music...
Please, use the search feature.
There are numerous threads on this exact subject.
I actually think it's a pretty good idea, but I don't know how successful it would be on Broadway. I can see it like Seussical, having life in community and regional companies. I would think it would be too seasonal for a long run. Maybe it could do something like The Grinch?
I think it would be a marvelous idea! Who would play the three sisters?
GET OVER THE SEARCH FUNCTION! If there is a thread (or 10) on the same subject right underneath then i understand, but if someone brings up the same topic every once in a while who cares!

Imagine the 3 of them reprising their film roles on stage
I only use search features when I feel like it
^
agreed. In the time it takes to yell at someone, you can answer their question.
lol... the flying vacum cleaner!!!
It would have to be a very smart and witty score for me to go for it.
thank you Born To Reign!! I really wish people on this board would just stop being so B***hy!!
I agree B3, it would have to be done just right, or it would not work at all
If they reprised their roles.... GLORIOUS! The flying vacuum over the audience would kick Ashley Brown's (flying with an umbrella) ass.
I'm not being b*tchy. I am just pointing out a fact.
So, you don't have time to use the search feature (which takes about 30 seconds), but you do have time to call me b*tchy.
Oh, it's on.
lol... it was on at least 2 minutes ago!!
Oh, and I have to agree, the flying vacum cleaner would be way better than that lame a** umbrella any day!!
americanboy99, I am sorry for calling you bit*hy
*goes and sits in a corner*
Apology accepted.
But seriously, when I was new to the boards, as you obviously are, I had so many people attack me when I created threads that had already been created. However, it made me stronger and more understanding. Also, I always use the search feature now, which is great because those threads have so much more information.
And I agree about threads like "what's the rush policy for..." or for threads that are repeats of conversations on the same day.
However, for things that are conversations of opinions, I think it's nice to have them brought up every once in a while. For people who are relatively new to the boards (such as myself), it's nice because I might never think to search for it, but have an opinion to put in. Also, I like it better than a general "movie musicals" thread, because I generally stop reading those kinds of nonspecific threads when they get too long. I think it deserves to be brought out in its own thread if it's proven to be popular in the more generic thread (if that makes any sense)
You didn't even start this thread!
Calm down.
Perfectly calm. Just stating an opinion.
As I said, I am sorry, but you bumping the other one still does not change my mind about waisting time trying to track down an old thread...
and I am not that "new" to the website... as my profile states I joined just about 2 years ago
That being when you measure the circumference of the time you spent in order to fit it for pants?
What?? Pants??? I'm confused...
Well, you act like you're new to the board, lakezurich.
sorry, it has been awhile since I read through my Broadwayworld.com etiquite book. I guess I'll have to read it again, but I think I might have lost my copy, does anyone know where I can get another?
