I'm in need of a monologue from House of Blue Leaves. I've never read the play and I'm having trouble getting ahold of it, but a certain monologue has been suggested for me to do and I was hoping someone could help me. My teacher said it was on page 37, it's Ronnie's monologue, and I believe he is building a bomb in the scene. Thanks for your help!

All I can remember is:
My father tell you about me? Pope Ronnie? Charmed life? That's the way he is with you, you ought to hear him with me.

It's a LONG monologue, probably 7 or 8 minutes. Very funny (a very young and then unknown Ben Stiller was hysterical doing it in the terrific 1986 revival of the play). You can easily get the script from Amazon, or better yet, the Drama Bookshop here on W. 40th Street in NYC (they'll do rush orders over the phone and ship it anywhere in the US overnight).

Whose mother, Anne Meara, was Bunny when the show originally played off-Broadway in 1971.
