Im looking for a book on teaching children theater techniques. I found this book on the barnes & noble website, any ever use it? anyone have other suggestions?

thanks. are these books youve used or just found? i saw two of those as well. i thought maybe id use the house of games one cuz it references using personal experiences to build skits which is exactly what we want to do. i wonder what the chances are of me finding all three in a barnes and noble and being able to sit and compare...

I've used the following two books:
The first one is called "Acting Games (Improvisations And Exercises)" by Marsh Cassady. This one might be a bit advanced for what you want.
The second one which I suggest you get is called "Awareness Games" and I think that it's great and if you can find it I would recommend it highly. It's written by Claus Hoper, Ulrike Kutzleb, Alke Stobbe & Bertram Weber. This is by the far the best book on theatre games that I've found.
