Anyone seen this thing? It got lots of pre-opening publicity, but then was trashed in many reviews, most recently the Voice. Has anyone made the trek to Bushwick?

I bought a ticket after reading the piece in the Times about the stage blood they use in the show.

I thought it was absolutely fantastic. It's definitely in the Little Shop/Rocky Horror vein, but it creates its own thing. Hilarious costumes. Terrific 80s synth score.

They need to do some editing to make it shorter, but I would be very surprised if it doesn't end up getting a commercial run somewhere.

Apparently the whole run is sold out, but I went with my friend who was on the wait list. She got in. It's definitely worth a try.
