If anyone has seen any of these shows or have heard anything about them, I'm very interested to know how they are doing and I am WAY out of the loop right now. So lets hear it:

All Shook Up
La Cage Aux Folles
Little Women
BKYLN
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Good Vibrations (ugh)
Spamalot
The Light In The Piazza

You've gotta have heart AND music

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a great show...
I've seen the movie, and they did a great job sticking to the story. It's a very amusing show, with songs like "Love Is My Legs" and "Great Big Stuff", Norbert does an incredible job as Freddy Benson, and he and John Lithgow work very well together.
It's a great show, anyone who hasn't seen it yet should definately go check it out, it's worth it!

How they're doing box office wise, you can check on playbill.com. As far as personal opinion, here is mine:

ALL SHOOK UP - Very mediocre, but enjoyable.
LA CAGE AUX FOLLES - Terrible.
LITTLE WOMEN - Beyond mediocre, still remotely enjoyable.
BROOKLYN - Absolutely terrible.
CHITTY CHITTY - Terrible in London, haven't seen Bway.
DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS - Not much of a show, but HYSTERICAL.
GOOD VIBRATIONS - Abominable.
SPAMALOT - Overrated...not as enjoyable as it should be.

Haven't seen PIAZZA yet. Check out some of the great new plays/play revivals!

Spamalot-Vastly overrated
The Light in the Piazza-Absolutely gorgeous; tour-de-force performance from Victoria Clark

Spamalot was very funny and I enjoyed every minute.

Good Vibrations is also a lot of fun, the music is great and so is the cast.(This one tends to spark the most controversy-Those who love it, like I do really love it and those who hate it like Munk & Melissa really hate it, so there you go)

All shook up was OK, but I liked GV better.

I enjoyed La Cage

DRS- was a little dissappointing as was Chitty.

All Shook Up - Very fun cute show. Definitely see this one, especially if you enjoy Elvis music already. It really tells a story and doesnt take itself too seriously.

La Cage Aux Folles - Enjoyable, but has some issues. Mainly in that it introduces some characters entirely too late but the show is fun anyway. The ensemble steal the show.

Spamalot - This show is a great time, especially if you like the Spamalot humor. Lots of musical theater references too, but sometimes I felt the show suffered where the two concepts didnt meet.

The Light In The Piazza - Beautiful show, nothing flashy or fancy, just a sweet simple telling of a love story and the mother-daughter relationship of the two leads while visiting Italy. It has an operatic sound.
