c'mon how can anyone not smile to a scene like this?
it dosen't matter if it is cheesy or whatever some critics romp about, its all about having FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found this among reviews for the movie about what the Musical did for NYC

Everyone knows how difficult it can be to conquer Times Square, which, on a bad night, can be about as friendly a spot as Omaha Beach.
