Has anyone else read this book? It is HYS-terical. If you are an actor or a wannabe(former Thespian/Drama club President)you will love it -High school senior from deepest Jersey wants to go to Juilliard (and hopefully figure out what his sexual orientation is before graduation). The 80's pop-culture references are a riot, LOL. It really captures the camaraderie of a cast, the feeling that everything is possible in NY, and did I mention the sex? Whatever it is, It's All Good.
I don't know if she's a shill or not but I read and LOVED this book and think that anyone who reads this message board will love it too. It's about high school kids who dream of being in the professional theater (sound like any of you?). It's also about love, friendship, blossoming sexuality and all the issues that affected us when we were teenagers. I don't blame you for being skeptical but I still recommend that you read it and then decide. BTW, the author's website has the first chapter posted as well as an animated excerpt.
