I was listening to Bare: A Pop Opera today, and I was looking around the internet for info about the show, when I found that the composer, Damon Intrabartolo, passed away a few years ago. The articles I found don't list a cause of death, and I was wondering how he died. He was only 39 and it's such a tragedy that we lost such a talented man so young.

i think i heard around here it was a drug overdose, very sad

I don't think his family ever stated publicly the cause of death. While I completely understand the desire for privacy, If it was drug or depression related, I rather wish they had made that public because I think it could inspire other people out there who need help to try and get it.

I just directed the show in Chicago, and given the events that transpire in the show, it makes it all the more heartbreaking if that was the cause.
