I was wondering if anyone knew how to contct him. Can I send a letter to the theatre? Also, what is the address of the theatre if I try doing that. Thanks!

I was once advised to write him via the Rodgers and Hammerstein organization, but he didn't have anything running at that time. The Vivian Beaumont is probably a good place to send the letter currently.
I would also try contacting Rodgers and Hammersteins and they may be willing to forward on a letter or e-mail to him. That's how I got in contact with Ms. Jeanine Tesori and she was such a gem!
BSoBW2: I punched Sondheim in the face after I saw Wicked and said, "Why couldn't you write like that!?"
You could also trying contacting Bart Sher at the Intiman Theatre in Seattle, where he is the artistic director. I know he has a production of Three Sisters, adapted by Craig Lucas, and starring Judy Kuhn coming up soon.
It's always a safe bet to write in care of the theatre. Even if it's the compser, director, or whatever, the general manager of the show will forward the mail.
