How does TDF pick what performances are offered?
#0How does TDF pick what performances are offered?
Posted: 4/27/06 at 12:33pmJust wondering, because I wanted the matinee for a show next Wednesday but, unfortunately, they only have the night performance offered. I did notice that the site is updated every day so are there chances they may offer the matinee as the week goes on?

Vice versa.
TDF doesn't pick performances, the producers of the shows make available an allotment for specific performances depending upon expected sales at the box office.
The website is updated at least once a day and usually more than that.
Performances sell out their allotments and are taken off the site and more performances are added all the time.
What show?

Posted: 4/27/06 at 3:14pmQ: are all TDF tickets to a certain show always in the same area? In other words, I went to see Lt. of Inishmore through TDF and my seat was in the second row. I'm taking my parents tomorrow night. Are the seats bound to be in the same vicinity? Thanks.

Seats are not necessarily in the same place.
Again it depends on what the advance for the particular performance is.
