Lets just say the strike lasts 3 weeks...then that means 3 less weeks that a show has in previews, therefore 3 less weeks for tightening itself up. The best example would be TLM. Would they push opening night back the length that the strike lasted so they have their proper "preview" time in order to fix and tighten things they deem necessary?

Yes. While it may not be the exact same number of days as the strike lasts, expect for shows in previews to add previews and push back their openings to reflect some of the loss of time.
