It's one of the very few theatres that I haven't been in and I just bought tickets for VIRGINIA WOOLF for next Wednesday and TDF said my seats would be located in the Rear Mezz or Balcony.
I find most Broadway theatres to be pretty small and most of my sightlines have been very good. Anyone had any bad seating for WOOLF?

By what I remember, the mezzanine is very steep. I saw Russell Simmons' Def Poetry Jam on Broadway at the Longacre and I remember thinking that I was going to fall forward out of my seat and down into the orchestra. It wasn't unbearable, but it took a bit of getting used to. No worries.
I was in the fifth or sixth row of the mezzanine and it was fine. It was a student rush ticket.

While there may be a rake toward the back of the mezzanine at the Longacre, the first few rows have almost none. I was in the second row and had to look around heads to see much of the action--and I'm 6'3." So better the front of the balcony than the front of the mezzanine--and cheaper, too! But, as others have said here, the rear of the mezzanine should be fine.
