#1How is the Equus rush?
Posted: 11/10/08 at 10:51pmMy friend and I plan on rushing Equus tomorrow so I was wondering how busy it is and how early we should get there. Are there gonna be a mad house of Harry Potter fans waiting? Or will we be able to get seats an hour before the BO opens? Since its onstage we hope to get the front since those seem to be the best, so I was just wondering for anyone who has done it.. how early should we arrive? Thanks!

Posted: 11/10/08 at 10:53pmwell, as nice as rush tickets are, i heard the seats suck for equus cuz they are above the stage, so you have to lean over the whole time... which would hurt your back, but i dunno, thats just what one person said

Posted: 11/11/08 at 1:02amI did it this weekend, and the rush line didn't start filling up until about 30 minutes before the box office opened. They sell the onstage seats first and then start selling the back of the theatre. I sat onstage center, and the seats weren't really that awful at all. I mean, it sucked a little to lean forward, but it's not that bad. Plus, the show is staged so that tons of scenes and shots are actually staged towards the back. My only complaint was that Richard Griffith was a bit difficult to understand at times when he was facing the other direction. Daniel Radcliffe and the rest of the cast, though, we were able to hear just fine.
